KEY POINTS:
International passenger volumes at Auckland Airport continued to grow in June, up 5.9 per cent over the same period last year.
Domestic passengers were up 3.5 per cent compared to the same period last year.
New Zealand resident arrivals were up 11.4 per cent compared to the same period last year, while major inbound markets were mixed, with Australia marginally up 1.2 per cent and the USA and United Kingdom down 14.9 per cent and 5.6 per cent, respectively.
Chinese arrivals were strong, up 22.1 per cent for the year, while Japanese arrivals were down 14.2 per cent.
Shares in Auckland Airport were down 15c to $3.13 in a weak broader market.
