Freedom Air, the low-cost arm of Air New Zealand, is aiming its new Hamilton-Sydney service firmly at the business traveller.
The airline is moving from two journeys a week to five, from December.
General manager Stephen Jones said the increase was to support the growing business market in Hamilton as well as people in Thames and Taranaki, especially after the arrival of the new Airbus A320 planes.
