Air New Zealand public affairs manager Mark Champion has resigned.
Less than two weeks ago, Mr Champion was telling the media of the resignation of his own boss, Air New Zealand's vice-president of government, international and public affairs, David Beatson.
The airline confirmed that Mr Champion had resigned after two years at the airline, but would not elaborate.
The airline's senior vice-president of human resources, Carolyn Tremain, said Air New Zealand was sorry to see him go and wished him the best.
Mr Champion would not comment on his resignation.
