Air New Zealand's chief executive has today dismissed claims he was considering standing for National in the Botany seat.
Newstalk ZB political editor Barry Soper said he believed Christopher Luxon could be an option for National in the Botany seat.
But, Luxon this afternoon told the Herald he ''remained committed to Air New Zealand,'' where he has been chief executive since 2013.
Air New Zealand's chairman Tony Carter also dismissed claims Luxon was considering a move to politics.
Carter told NewstalkZB Luxon had also told him he remained committed to the company.
