Wine exports set new records

More than seven million bottles of wine were exported in March, breaking monthly sales records. Exports were boosted by growing demand for New Zealand reds and the emergence of new markets.

New Zealand Winegrowers' said yesterday a total of 5.2 million litres of wine was exported in March, up 73 per cent on the same month last year.
