KEY POINTS:
Prime Minister Helen Clark heads to Brisbane today as she continues her push to promote New Zealand companies.
The PM is trying to convince more Australian businesses to consider the option of working with New Zealand companies and is looking into what options there are for others to expand across the Tasman.
She said exporters have been working hard to get their products on overseas markets, even although the New Zealand dollar has been high. She said many just need a push to help them capitalise and more should be done to explore the full potential of the Australasian market.
Yesterday Helen Clark was in Melbourne exploring how food and drink companies can grow. Today she'll be looking at the work carried out by biotech companies in Brisbane.
