Telecom's business division, Gen-i, has pulled together expertise from the farming community to advise on the development of technology for the rural sector.
Gen-i has announced a 12-member board as an independent sounding board for its RuralZone cloud computing service.
Advisory board chairman Andrew West said a pilot being run with ANZCO meat company aims to test the system before full commercial launch.
