South Island rural supplies business Combined Rural Traders has opened three new FarmCentres in recent months and is due to open another next month. CRT's new operations are at Kurow, Otautau and Ranfurly, while the latest will be at Culverdon.
The openings follow a call from shareholders of CRT - a farmer-owned co-op - for more competition for rural supplies in rural South Island towns.
