The latest stage in the Crafar saga was played out in the Rotorua District Court today, as the liquidators of the family dairy empire kept up their bid to have the Crafars evicted from their farm.
Today the family was ordered to hand over the original tenancy agreement of their home, so it can be analysed by the police document examination section.
They will write a report to be used by the court and the case will next be in the Rotorua District Court on August 23.
The Crafar family owes more than $200 million to PGG Wrightson and banks after its central North Island farms went into receivership late last year.
Receivers KordaMentha offered Crafar six months' free rent in Rotorua but only if they left their farm on April 9.
KordaMentha are in the process of looking at bids for the farms, including one from Chinese dairy investment operation Natural Dairy.
