Liquidators of failed Christmas hamper company Mrs Christmas are confident 3500 customers will get their Christmas hampers.
Mrs Christmas was placed in liquidation today by the High Court at Auckland.
Damien Grant and Steven Khov of Waterstone Insolvency are the liquidators and says they are confident of a sale of the business within a week as three parties are interested in purchasing it.
"Based on indications of interest, the liquidators feel confident that all customer orders will be honoured and anyone who has an account with Mrs Christmas will have any payments credited to their new account," they said in a statement.
The company competes against Chrisco and Hampsta.

The company's troubles were revealed when the deliverer of the hampers, courier company Post Haste, was not paid and filed for liquidation.
Grant said about 3500 customers were affected by the liquidation and about $3 million was outstanding from the company.
"The players within the industry are pretty keen to make sure Mrs Christmas customers don't miss out because if that was to happen that would potentially damage their business model," he said.
