NEW YORK - Sony says it will start selling a new configuration of its PlayStation 3 video game console, with less built-in storage, priced at €399 ($760).
The model, which will also be available in the Middle East, Africa and Australia, has a 40-gigabyte hard drive and includes wireless internet access.
Sony said it would cut the price of its 60GB model by €100 to €499, "while stocks last."
The new model is expected to go on sale in Europe this week.
