KEY POINTS:
Paul Rhodes and Nicky Wagner, directors of Canterbury Building Society, have retired from the board, effective immediately.
Rhodes had completed a one-year term to assist in the merger of SMC Building Society with what is now CBS Canterbury. Wagner joined the board of CBS in 2000 with experience in marketing and IT but has a new role as an MP.
CBS is set to merge with another Canterbury' financial entity, Loan and Building Society.
