Carter Holt Harvey is selling a leased wharf store and land it has at Port of Tauranga to the port and leasing a different site there.
The port says the deal is the culmination of 14 months of negotiations and consummates a partnership with the global beverage packaging company owned by Graeme Hart.
Financial details of the deal were not released.
