New Zealand's top performing companies and business leaders are getting ready for this year's Deloitte Top 200 awards - the 25th year of the prestigious event.
The awards, to be held on November 27 at the Viaduct Events Centre, showcase the top 200 largest New Zealand businesses based on revenue, as well as a separate list of New Zealand's Top 30 financial enterprises based on asset value.
According to business commentator and convenor for the awards Fran O'Sullivan, the awards celebrate and highlight New Zealand's high performing business sector and are coveted titles.
"The Top 200 are the iconic business awards in New Zealand. It looks at the best company overall, top CEO, and a range of other performing factors including high-growth companies and visionary leaders and it comes off the back of the top performing lists," O'Sullivan said.
"For the business sector it's very important and, of course, the awards are keenly sought after. It's seen as a badge of honour on a CV for a top chief executive or chairman."
