Best in business to be celebrated

New Zealand's top performing companies and business leaders are preparing for this year's Deloitte Top 200 awards where the best in the industry will be celebrated.

Now in their 27th year, the awards will be held at Vector Arena on December 1, showcasing the top 200 largest New Zealand businesses based on revenue, as well as a separate list of New Zealand's Top 30 financial enterprises based on asset value.

Michael Boggs, chief executive of NZME which is hosting the event in partnership with Deloitte, said it was a great opportunity to celebrate excellence and achievement in the business community.

Winners for each of the ten award categories will be celebrated on the night before an overall winner is announced.

Deloitte chief executive Thomas Pippos said Deloitte was proud to have been a founding partner of the awards and was delighted with how the Awards have grown over the years.

"The Top 200 is the premier business awards for the New Zealand business community," Pippos said.
