Business brokerage firm Link Business Franchising has come away as the supreme winner of this year's Westpac Business Awards Central, taking out the Supreme Business Excellence Award and the Excellence in Exporting category. The company was set up in 1996 and has since expanded from a small Auckland-based firm into Australia, South Africa and the US, with its cloud based IT systems, online business appraisal and evaluation tools, and an international network of brokers.
The Westpac Auckland Business Awards, held last night at The Langham in Auckland, celebrate excellence in business and innovation across Auckland.
Other winners on the night included Pure Delish, Haka Tours, Naveya & Sloane, Bupa Care Services, Auckland Trotting Club and OutSource IT's Philip Adamson.
Auckland chamber of commerce chief executive Michael Barnett said the awards were a good indicator of the emerging, innovative companies coming out of Auckland, adding that most of the winners were successful because they had worked out how to meet the specific demands of their customers.
