The brother of a disabled man has gone to great lengths to help him get a job.
Aussie resident Paul James Hardy took to Facebook on Sunday to share his brother David's experience trying to find a job, the Daily Mail reports.
On the Sunshine Coast Community BoardFacebook page Hardy wrote that David had suffered from short-term memory loss since birth and because of his condition nobody would "give him a go".
"14 months ago my younger brother David (34) moved here from New Zealand in order to be closer to myself, my family and to start a new lifestyle here in this beautiful part of Australia," he wrote in the post.
"Since he arrived here, in the last 14 months David has applied for 100s of jobs/had interviews here on the Coast but has been knocked back every time... Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Orchards, Landscaping, you name it.
"We're just a close-knit team and everybody looks out for everybody," Simon told Australia's Seven News.
"I felt I had something he would be suitable for."
David had an interview with Kunara Organic Marketplace the next day and just hours later Hardy took to Facebook to share the news on the community Facebook page.
"David landed a job this afternoon and is over the moon!," Hardy wrote.

"We are overwhelmed at the support of our community and are truly grateful!"
David has worked in supermarkets across New Zealand for 12 years.
