Bridgecorp records profitable half-year

Specialist property financier Bridgecorp has reported a lift in pre-tax profit to $16.1 million for the half-year to December, an increase of $4.5 million on the same period the previous year.

After-tax operating profit for the period was $10.8 million, up from $7.9 million in the same period in 2004.

Revenues from lending activities were $47.2 million , the company said.
