Nearly 5000 new Auckland apartments are either being built or planned.
Andrew Brown, a JLL agency director in Auckland, has just released a study showing a huge apartment boom and marking each project as being at demolition phase, under construction, possible or unlikely.
The Wynyard precinct will get up to 2500 units by 2018, 500 units are under construction at Sugartree at 27 Union St and the Methodist Mission Building at 360-370 Queen St will be converted into 360 units, his new report said.
