Blue Sky Meats post higher profit

Blue Sky Meats has posted a March year net profit after tax of $3.9 million despite trading difficulties in some overseas markets.

The profit was up from the $3.6 million a year earlier.

Chairman Barry Thomas said the Invercargill-based company had traded better than expected, despite the season starting slightly later.
