Richard Aitken, Beca group chief executive, said half his firm's revenue was being generated by work from the infrastructure sector.
"This includes roads, bridges, water, wastewater, airports, rail, power transmission and generation, health, defence and central and local government work generally," he said.
Beca was involved in two big geothermal power generation projects: Rotokawa, the 165MW, $450 million project and Kawerau, the 100MW, $90 million project, he said.
"We are also involved in a large number of wind farms including the recently completed West Wind project with a total budget of over $400 million as well as consenting work for Contact Energy for a number of wind farms in the North Island.
"We are also a main supplier to Transpower and we are supporting them in their work to strengthen and upgrade the national grid," he said.
Beca is also part of the consortium which won the contract to build Melbourne's new desalination plant.
