Bayer Chemicals changes name to Lanxess

Bayer Chemicals, a subsidiary of international chemicals company Bayer Group, is changing its name to Lanxess as part of a worldwide restructuring plan.

Lanxess will be set up as an independent company globally, which will then be floated on the stock market early next year.
