Balanced funds stabilise

Balanced managed funds had their first positive quarter in the three months to June after nearly two years of being in the red.

A survey by Mercer found the median return of wholesale balanced funds was up 6.4 per cent for the June quarter but remained negative over the year, down 7.7 per cent.
