Trans Tasman bakery chain Brumby's Bakeries today reported an 18 per cent rise in half year profit.
For the six months ended December 31, Brumby's reported a net profit of A$993,000 ($1.15 million), up from $814,000.
The profit was on the back of an 11 per cent rise in revenue.
A fully franked dividend of 3c per share was announced, up from 2.5cps for the same period the previous year.
As at December 31 Brumby's had 314 franchises across New Zealand and Australia, after opening 18 stores during the six months.
