New Zealand's largest fund manager, AMP Henderson Global Investors, has abolished Stephen Walker's job as head of its NZ equities.
He is the latest of several casualties in the ew Zealand financial sector as firms consolidate operations in Australia.
Mr Walker is still employed by AMP Henderson, but his future is unclear.
As part of a rejig, AMP's Chris Wozniak has been appointed the new chief investment officer. He was head of fixed interest at AMP Henderson.
Mr Walker was responsible for an equity pool of $1.2 billion.
