Avon lady misses annual pay bonus

CHICAGO - Avon Products performed so poorly last year that its top executive did not get a bonus and her salary has been held at March last year's level.

Chairman and chief executive of the world's largest direct-seller of beauty products, Andrea Jung, has earned a static US$1.37 million ($2.2 million) in the latest year.

The company suffered last year as lower-income consumers curbed purchases and competitors rolled out new skincare products.
