The Asia-Pacific region will have more computer programmers and other professional developers than North America in two years' time, says industry monitor International Data Corp.
It said North America was the region with the most developers in 2001, followed by Asia Pacific.
But strong growth in China and India would propel the region to the top of the list in 2005.
