SYDNEY - Health and beauty company API Industries Ltd has formed a new partnership with Alphapharm, API said today.
The company said the deal would give pharmacists the option to combine the services of the two parties.
"API will become the preferred distributor for Alphapharm's products," API said.
"(It) will provide pharmacists the option to combine the services of the leading generic pharmaceuticals supplier with the leading pharmacy retail brand provider and distribution company in Australia."
API'S pharmacy business provides wholesale distribution, business and marketing services to pharmacies across Australia.
Its consumer division is a niche player in over-the-counter pharmaceuticals in New Zealand and its retail division is a leader in the health and beauty market managing retail brands such as Priceline.
