A Kiwi company has taken top honours at a major international advertising competition for their All Blacks poster.
A limited edition of the Adidas "Bonded By Blood" poster includes an image of the All Blacks in a forest with samples of the team members' sterilised blood embedded in the paper.
TBWA/Whybin chief executive David Walden said the poster was a unique way of linking the team to their fan base and the judges recognised this.
He said the Promo Grand Prix at the International Advertising Festival in Cannes, France, was the biggest trophy on the international advertising stage.
The company also picked up an award for an ad campaign for ASB Bank.
TBWA/Whybin threw an office party with champagne, croissants and red, white and blue napkins, yesterday morning as the news was delivered.
Mr Walden said he hoped the All Blacks could pick up a prize of their own when they travel to France to compete for the World Cup which kicks off in September.
