Former All Black Murray Mexted is selling his Kapiti Coast home -- after being in the family for 35 years. Mexted and his wife Mariska have put their Paraparaumu Beach property on the market.
The agent selling the couple's home, Mike Voyle, is also a former rugby international -- playing 22 tests between 1996 to 2000.
The Californian-style mansion, in Vaucluse Ave, is described as "prime real estate", just one block from the beach, with three living rooms and five bedrooms with a centrepiece pool.
"It is so easy to relax here in private. There's the 'pit', plus open plan family room, dining, and kitchen, another lounge beyond, then the master bedroom with walk in wardrobe, and ensuite with sunken bath," the listing says.
