Listed healthcare provider Abano Healthcare has bought three more dental practices, and expects to announce a fourth this month.
City Dental in Auckland, the Dental Rooms in Masterton and Five Cross Roads Dental Centre in Hamilton are expected to add about $3.2 million to the turnover of Abano's Lumino group.
The group will have 31 practices by December.
Historically the group had acquired six dental practices per year, Abano managing director Alan Clarke said.
It expected to exceed its 2007 target of eight and 10 practices in 2008.
Shares in Abano were down 4c to $4.65 by early afternoon, off a year high of $5.00 in October and a year low of $1.65 in November last year.
