An equity investment company has bought the PWC Centre for $60 million, marking the second-largest office building transaction in Christchurch, according to Savills New Zealand.
The centre, at 60 Cashel St opposite the Bridge of Remembrance, was sold to Maat Consulting Limited.
The sale represents a yield of 5.6 per cent and is the Maat Group's first investment in the South Island.
Savills New Zealand managing director Ryan Geddes, who brokered the off-market sale with colleague Jesse Paenga, said it is the second-largest office building transaction in the city.
