A 17-level, 3073sq m apartment/office block is planned for 38 Fort St in Auckland's CBD where a low-rise building now stands.
Suzi Matz, project development manager at developer Falconer & Co, says a resource consent application has been made for the $25 million building which will have a ground-level restaurant and floor plates of 141sq m.
Each of the 17 levels will be sold separately as unit titles, to be marketed by Colliers International and Sotheby's International. The commercial level three is being marketed at $1.1 million, she says.
Residential floors start from level 10 and the block will have six apartments plus a penthouse, ranging in price from $1.49 million to $1.79 million for the penthouse, although a pre-sale agreement has already been struck on that, says Matz.
Most apartments are 141sq m with decks on the north and south sides.
