A $5 million Hindu temple and community complex in Henderson will formally be opened in June.
The three-level complex will include a community centre and have capacity for up to 1000 people.
It will be opened on June 13.
Opening ceremonies will include prayashchit, cultural programs, shradh, poojans, yag, homs, nagar & jal yatras, 108 kalash and other poojans, artis, vasses, devta jaagran, praan pratisthapnam, pushpanjali, various prayers and a hawan fire ritual.
Shri Ram Mandir Charitable Trust, a registered charity established in 2011, is behind the build and hopes that the new centre will address the spiritual, social, and cultural needs of the community.
In addition to offering worship services; Shri Ram Mandir also plans to organize cultural activities, festivals, and host community events.
There will also be an emphasis on educational projects and services for seniors with lectures on Hinduism.
