Police in Auckland are asking for help from the public to identify a man who has been approaching women in Mt Albert and trying to kiss and touch them.
The man is now sought in connection with six assault cases all of which have been on women in an area around Pak n Save supermarket and Mt Albert train station.
The man is described as slim to medium build, around 160-170m tall and often wearing a beanie or cap.
Detective Martin Friend said the offender's actions have been upsetting and frightening for the victims and Police are very keen to locate him.
"This man is often approaching women from behind, putting his hands and arms around their necks and then trying to kiss them. It's totally unacceptable behaviour and is usually happening in broad daylight."
