JLo will never be the singer with an amazing voice. She's the actress/dancer/musician who, despite having an average voice, can pump out hit after hit and we love her for that.
Her latest album, Love?, features party anthems and ballads.
I have to say that the party tracks do it better. On The Floor, featuring Pitbull, is one of those tracks, where she manages to reinvent herself to fit with today's sound of dance, teaming up with one of the hottest rappers to do it.
Other good party tracks include Good Hit, my favourite on the album, and I'm Into You, featuring Lil Wayne, and Hypnotico. They're definitely the best tracks on the album, with On The Floor, and incorporate a real Latino sound. Tracks What is Love and Papi are okay, while the rest of the album is pretty passable.
I think she definitely does her best work with dance music.
