Defending champions Eastern Bay of Plenty will host Hamilton tomorrow in the semifinals of the Stan Meads Cup.

Eastern Bay of Plenty earned the right to a home semifinal after finishing on top of the table in section two.

In the other semifinal, Te Awamutu have finished top of section one and will host Piako in Pirongia at 2.30pm.

The winners will meet next Saturday to decide the 2014 Stan Meads Cup.

Hamilton will be up against a large hometown crowd when they travel to Rugby Park in Whakatane for the 2pm fixture. The Eastern Bay players will be determined to reach their second successive title decider and will leave nothing in the tank on their home ground.

Meanwhile, in the Stan Meads Plate, Thames Valley B progress straight to the final, while Central Bay of Plenty and King Country B will do battle at Puarenga Park in Rotorua for the other spot in the final.

Stan Meads Cup draw tomorrow:

Cup semifinals: Eastern Bay of Plenty v Hamilton, Rugby Park in Whakatane 2pm; Te Awamutu v Piako, Pirongia 2.30pm.

Plate semifinal: Central Bay of Plenty v King Country B, Puarenga Park in Rotorua 2.30pm.
