"They've got a well balanced team across the field, so it's going to be a good game."
One thing in Rotoiti's favour will be home support, something his players respond to.
"Confidence and momentum count for a lot, but the main focus this week is we don't want to get complacent."
Teams have access to game videos and Francis has watched the Mount v Rangataua match.
"That helps us heaps in terms of our plan of attack. We get to view their game and they get to see video of our game against Tauranga. It's a pretty good resource."
He said there were a few niggling injury concerns coming out of last Saturday's game, but he hoped to have all his players available.
Earlier this week, three Rotoiti players were named in the Bay of Plenty under-19 squad - Raniera Whakataka, Te Ra Whata and Tame Curtis - and Francis is tipping his skipper Baden Wardlaw to wear the Bay colours for the Steamers this year.
"Tame has made the step up in the last few weeks so he's got a taste now and that's awesome for all three of them. Baden also leading from the front, he's an awesome leader. Hopefully he'll be in the Steamers squad - he should make it on his performances."
Whakarewarewa will travel to Te Puke to take on Te Puke Sports who they beat by a single point in round one.
Te Puke Sports are in good form having beaten Te Puna last weekend.
Whakarewarewa coach Joe Savage said there were a number of areas where he was looking for improvements after last weekend's home loss to Greerton.
"In order for us to improve our performance we can't be missing tackles and need to ensure we are not letting off the intensity.
"We need to sustain the intensity when attacking for long periods and ensure we are closing down their 9 and 10 and not letting them distribute out wide."
Savage said he didn't want the occasion to rattle his side.
"We know there were occasions in our previous encounter that we let some easy tries slip through and it just made our job a lot harder. If we can just consolidate that for a full 80 minutes and play our game, we shouldn't have too much drama."
Savage said his team will be focusing on securing a top four finish, if not a top two spot.
Te Puke Sports' head coach Craig Jeffries was pleased with how his team pulled through last weekend's encounter.
"It was a brutal game for both sides and we were pleased to come out on top. We certainly took a lot out of that as Te Puna is a great side. We get a bit of belief from that."
