Rotorua swimmer Jono Griffiths enjoyed four wins from four starts during the Arawai Swimming Club's Spring Carnival at the weekend.
The event was held in the 50m pool at the Rotorua Aquatic Centre.
16-year-old Griffiths finished first in the 50m and 100m backstroke, and first in the 50m and 100m butterfly events.
He also recorded national times in the 100m backstroke and 50m backstroke.
Saturday's meeting was the first competitive meeting for a large number of the Arawai swimmers, many of whom swam personal bests.
