Rotorua golfer Danny Lee has just missed out on representing New Zealand at the lucrative World Cup of Golf in Melbourne.
North Harbour professional Michael Hendry and Manawatu professional Tim Wilkinson have been named to represent New Zealand at the tournament.
The global tournament will be staged at The Royal Melbourne Golf Club from November 18-24.
The pair earned their place through their position on the Official World Golf Rankings on the qualification date of September 23.
New Zealand No1 Hendry was a clear choice but Wilkinson earned his place only one ranking spot ahead of Lee at the time of qualification.
