It was a much-needed win for the Rotorua team after their hefty eight-wicket loss against Lake Taupo CC.
The result leaves Geyser City in fourth place in Pool One on 23 points.
Meanwhile, in Pool One, favourites Lake Taupo remain unbeaten after a narrow win over Sikh Sports at home.
In the first innings the Western Bay Indian representatives hit 158 runs, with Taupo bowler Nick Field in top form taking five for 35. The home side then had to work hard at the crease for a two-wicket victory.
Lake Taupo are joined at the top by Tauranga Boys' College after they posted 203/8 and then bowled R&A Sangha out for 155.
Whakatane United laid down the challenge to the other Western Bay Plenty Reserve Grade championship contenders in Pool Two, beating top seeds Greerton by three wickets at home.
Defending champions Te Puke remain unbeaten in their title defence after a six-wicket win against long-time rivals Mount Maunganui at home while Cadets posted a solid five-wicket win over Aquinas College.
