The best of the Bay of Plenty's future rugby talent will be descending on Western Heights High School this Saturday in the Annual 1st XV College Day.
The purpose of the day is to bring the best young talent together for talent identification and development with the Bay of Plenty Rugby Union's representative coaches and High Performance staff attending the matches.
With nine of the top 1st XVs on display kicking off at 9.30am the rugby public will be spoilt for entertainment.
Mount Maunganui College take on local favourite Rotorua Boys' High School III in what will be the feature match of the early round.
At 11am Bethlehem College take on the traditional Eastern Bay of Plenty power house Opotiki College. After a slow start they have clawed back two good wins, while Taupo nui a Tia battle out for top honours with Central Bay of Plenty favourite Reporoa College.
The feature match will be home team Western Heights High School taking on Trident High School at 12.30pm.
Western Heights High School will be providing a fun atmosphere with sausage sizzle and food available at the ground.
