Rotorua zombie enthusiasts are looking to raise $10,000 for charity this year during a zombie walk and Halloween party.
Organisers of the annual Rotorua Zombie Walk will visit the Rotorua Night Market tomorrow to promote the walk and Halloween party on October 26.
Former DVD store owner Layla Robinson started the zombie walk event in 2010, donating the money raised to the Rotorua Brain Injury Association.
"I am a big horror fan and in all the zombie movies the zombies eat brains," she said.
Last year the walk gained enough money to send one young man, involved with the Brain Injury Association, to Outward Bound.
