Three youths have been arrested after a suspected stolen vehicle incident in Rotorua this morning.

A police spokeswoman said police received a report of an alleged stolen vehicle about 8.10am in the Mangakakahi area.

"About 8.15am police located the vehicle and followed [it] through to Ngongotahā, Fairy Springs, Western Heights and Selwyn Heights.

"No pursuit was initiated and no spikes were deployed. The vehicle stopped on Ngongotahā Rd about 8.45am after swiping another vehicle," the spokeswoman said.
