A woman had to be airlifted to hospital with a serious cardiac condition this morning.
The Tauranga-based Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was called to Waihau Bay at 6.30am today to pick up the 57-year-old local woman, who was flown to Whakatane Hospital.
