Despite the wild weather overnight the issues reported to Rotorua Lakes Council were relatively minor.
Council staff continue to monitor the weather forecasts and lake levels around the district, it said in a statement on its website.
"Contractors will be attending to a couple of slips on rural roads today."
Issues reported overnight
Hamurana Rd - slip and trees covering 3/4 of the road about 2km past Unsworth Road toward Mourea.
Ngamotu Rd - slip covering 3/4 of the road
Rerewhakaaitu - flooding between Republican Rd and Rerewhakaaitu village
Te Ngae Rd - a property was flooding overnight

The council has reminded residents to keep checking drains around their properties and take extra care on the roads.
