Off the Wall: World of WearableArt Up Close is an innovative, interactive exhibition showcasing some of of the very best garments from the historic collection and bringing to life the stories behind them.
The exhibition will be on show at the Rotorua Museum from tomorrow until February 10 next year - the first North Island stop on its limited touring schedule.
Deputy director of Rotorua Museum, Pamela Lovis, is excited at the timing of the exhibition. She said she hoped locals would take advantage of the free entry for Rotorua residents, as well as bring visiting friends and families along.
WOW founder Dame Suzie Moncrieff worked closely with Sir Richard Taylor of Weta Workshop to select the range of pieces.
