More than 20 vintage cars rallied together today to raise funds for the Cancer Society.
The Rotorua Vintage Car Club held its inaugural Daffodil Rally for Cancer today as part of a new event initiated nationwide by the Vintage Car Club of New Zealand.
The rally was open to anybody with a vehicle, with cars ranging from the 1920s right through to the latest models.
Reg and Annette Munro bought their 1929 Austin Burnham 20 years ago and have slowly restored it over time.
Mr Munro said everybody had at some point been touched by cancer so they of course wanted to support the day.
"We've lost a lot of friends and family over the years and it's nice to do something," he said.
"I'd just like to thank everyone that came."

Mr Wickham said there were quite a few locals who came along and that was what he had wanted.
"We made a great morning out of it, and it was something a bit different.
"Some areas across the country will have done well and nationwide I'd be interested to see what we've all taken."
Sid Wallder isn't a part of the club, but learned of the charity rally and decided to head along.
"I've always been into old cars and this is a good cause," he said.
"We all put in $10 towards charity and it's worth it to go for a drive around town and meet new people."
More than 22,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year - a number which is only set to increase.
People wanting to support the Cancer Society can make a donation to it throughout the month at daffodilday.org.nz or through collection boxes in schools, community groups, local businesses and at any ANZ branch.
