The circus is coming to town - all the way from Canada.
The Vague de Cirque, based in Montreal in Canada, will present Carousel and Clothesline at Rotorua's Civic Theatre on Thursday as part of a nationwide tour.
This is the first time the Vague de Cirque will tour New Zealand and spokeswoman Camille Pilawa said the seven performers and the crew were thrilled to perform in the country.
Miss Pilawa said the circus, created by alumni of the renowned Cirque du Soleil and Cirque Eloize, featured everything from tightropes and trapeze to magic and contortion and had something for everyone.
"It's a really impressive show. The performers are of a really high standard. You won't see acrobatics like this in any other circus, it's really unique," she said.
