Two vehicles have crashed on Te Ngae Rd, near the intersection of Ti St.
A police spokeswoman said police were called to the crash about 2.25pm.
She said it did not look like there were any injuries and the parties were exchanging details.
One vehicle has extensive frontal damage and members in the public in the area at the time of the crash were helping with traffic control.
